ST-01 / Describe
Describe
Say what the part has to do, where it lives, and what it bolts to. No CAD, no drawings, no supplier RFQ.
“I need a custom bracket for a drone.”
AI-powered manufacturing
From digital ideas to physical reality — powered by AI. Describe what you need in plain language. GovFab designs it, proves it out against your requirements, and builds it through a secure, fully audited production network.
How GovFab works
Every job travels the same controlled route, and every station leaves a record. You stay in plain language the whole way; the platform handles geometry, analysis, qualification, and production.

ST-02 / Generate
The engine produces manufacturable candidates — not one answer, but a set that trades mass against strength against schedule.
ST-03 / Validate
Nothing reaches a machine unproven. Each candidate is analyzed, qualified against the spec, and checked for manufacturability.
ST-04 / Fabricate
The approved design is released to an accredited facility, produced, inspected, and delivered with its full documentation package.
Why GovFab
AI-NATIVE
Traditional production begins with a CAD seat, a drawing package, and a purchasing cycle. GovFab begins with a sentence. The design software, the analysis, and the supplier search all sit behind the conversation instead of in front of it.
RAPID
Generation, structural validation, process selection, and qualification run concurrently rather than as sequential handoffs between people. First-article parts move from requirement to released toolpath in a single working day.
SECURED
Projects are access-controlled to named personnel. Every generation, revision, approval, and release is written to an immutable log, so a program office can reconstruct exactly who changed what and which facility built it — years after delivery.
DOMESTIC
Production is routed to vetted domestic capacity by default. Organizations that cannot accept offshore dependency for a spare part, a fixture, or a fielded repair get a supply chain that stays inside the border.
ANY QTY
A single replacement bushing and a ten-thousand-unit housing enter through the same interface. The platform changes the process and the tooling strategy underneath; you do not change how you ask.
The AI design engine
A session from prompt to release. Nothing here needs a CAD license — and nothing reaches a machine without a signed-off dossier behind it.

Three enclosures meet IP67 or better at −40 °C to 85 °C with a 2 mm gasket land and M3 board standoffs. Select one to review its qualification dossier.

Government & enterprise
When a part is out of production, out of stock, or eight weeks out, the mission does not wait. GovFab is built for the work that cannot be back-ordered.
Reproduce components whose original supplier, tooling, or drawing package no longer exists — from a measured sample or a description of the failure.
Move through design iterations in days. Every revision keeps its analysis, cost, and inspection history attached.
Jigs, gauges, mounts, and test fixtures built to your equipment rather than adapted from a catalog.
Push a validated design to the capability nearest the point of need, including deployed and expeditionary production cells.
Designed for controlled-information workflows: access-scoped projects, audit trails on every revision, and routing restricted to cleared domestic capacity.
Convert single-source risk into a digital inventory that can be produced at multiple qualified sites on demand.
Security & assurance
Design data is among the most sensitive material an organization holds. GovFab treats it that way: controlled from the moment it is described, and accountable from the moment it is built.
The platform is architected around controlled-unclassified-information handling, least-privilege access, and an append-only record of every action taken against a design. Production is routed only to facilities that hold the accreditations a given program requires — and never outside the boundary you set.
Accreditation status and third-party assessment reports are provided under NDA during program qualification.
Where this goes
Physical goods become as addressable as software: generated when needed, produced where it makes sense, and sourced from whoever builds it best.
Fabrication reach
The engine picks the process from the requirement, not from what a single shop happens to own.
