What to include
- What the part or system has to do
- Loads, temperatures, and media it will see in service
- What it mates to, and any dimensions that cannot change
- Quantity, and the date it is actually needed
- Any standards, accreditation, or sourcing restrictions that apply
If you do not know some of these, send it anyway. Working out the missing requirements is part of what the platform does.
